<i>Sokan jönnek majd napkeletről és napnyugatról a mennyek országába. </i><br>
Abban az időben, amikor Jézus bement Kafarnaumba, <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">egy (pogány) százados </span>
járult eléje, és így <span style="color:rgb(7,55,99)">szólt: „<span style="color:rgb(255,0,0)">Uram,</span> szolgám bénán fekszik otthon, és
szörnyen kínlódik.”</span> Jézus így felelt: „Megyek és meggyógyítom.” A
százados <span style="color:rgb(7,55,99)">ezt válaszolta: <span style="color:rgb(255,0,0)">„Uram,</span> nem vagyok méltó, hogy hajlékomba jöjj,
hanem csak egy szóval mondd, és meggyógyul az én szolgám. Jómagam, bár
alárendelt ember vagyok, katonáknak parancsolok. Ha azt mondom az
egyiknek: »Menj!« – elmegy; a másiknak: »Jöjj ide!« – akkor hozzám jön;
és szolgámnak: »Tedd ezt!« – és megteszi.”</span><br>
Amikor Jézus ezt hallotta, elcsodálkozott, és így szólt <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)"><span style="color:rgb(255,0,0)">kísérőihez:</span> </span>
„Bizony mondom nektek, ekkora hitet senkinél sem találtam Izraelben.
Ezért azt mondom nektek: Sokan jönnek majd napkeletről és napnyugatról,
és asztalhoz telepednek Ábrahám, Izsák és Jákob mellé a mennyek
országában.”<br>
Ezek az evangélium igéi.

servant is lying at home paralyzed, suffering dreadfully. . . . I am not
worthy to have you enter under my roof; only say the word and my
servant will be healed." <br></b></span></span><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-weight:400;line-height:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;font-family:georgia,"times new roman";font-style:normal">Any
objective observer would say, "Well, this is ridiculous! What this man
is asking is impossible." He is not only asking that his servant might
be cured; he is asking that he be cured at a distance, with simply a
word. He’s at the limit of what he could possibly know or control or
measure. And yet he trusts; he has faith.<br></span><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-weight:400;line-height:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;font-family:georgia,"times new roman";font-style:normal"><span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b>Søren
Kierkegaard defined faith as "a passion for the impossible<span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)">." </span></b><b>Is God
<span style="background-color:rgb(234,209,220)">opposed to</span><span style="background-color:rgb(217,234,211)"> reason</span>? Absolutely not; God gave us<span style="background-color:rgb(217,234,211)"> the gift of reason.<span style="background-color:rgb(246,178,107)"> </span></span><span style="background-color:rgb(246,178,107)">Does
<span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)">God </span>want us to be</span><span style="background-color:rgb(234,209,220)"><span style="background-color:rgb(246,178,107)"> </span>unrealistic</span>? No; he wants us to use all of our powers
of imagination and analysis. But faith goes beyond <span style="background-color:rgb(182,215,168)">reason</span>; it is a
passion for what reason can’t see. </b></span><br></span><br><span style="background-color:rgb(208,224,227)"><b><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);line-height:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;font-family:georgia,"times new roman";font-style:normal">That
centurion had a passion for the impossible. And that’s why Jesus says
to him, in some of the highest praise you’ll find in the Gospel: "In no
one in Israel have I found such a tékozló fiúknak is, akik elhagytak. Add, hogy mihamarabb visszatérjenek az

Légy királya azoknak is, akiket tévedés ejtett meg, vagy szakadás választott
el. Hívd vissza őket az igazság szolgálatára és a hit egységébe, hogy rövidesen
egy akol legyen és egy pásztor. Adj Urunk egyházadnak biztos és teljes
szabadságot, minden népnek békét és rendet. Tedd, hogy az egész földkerekség
egy szózattól visszhangozzék: Köszöntsük az isteni Szívet, amely által
üdvösségünk támadt: dicsértessék és áldassék mindörökké. Ámen.</span>
