<i>Jézus övéinek jó pásztora és üdvözítője. </i><br>
Abban az időben így szólt Jézus:<br>
„Bizony, bizony, mondom nektek: <span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)">Aki nem</span> a kapun megy be a juhok aklába,
<span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)">hanem máshol,</span> <span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)">az tolvaj és rabló</span>. Aki viszont az ajtón megy be, az a
juhok pásztora. Az őr ajtót nyit neki, a juhok pedig hallgatnak szavára.
Nevükön szólítja juhait, és kivezeti őket. Miután mind kivezette,
előttük halad, és a juhok követik, mert ismerik a hangját.<span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)"> Az idegent </span>
nem követik, <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">sőt elfutnak tőle, mert az idegen hangját nem ismerik.”</span><br>
Jézus ezt a hasonlatot mondta nekik, de ők <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">nem értették meg,</span> hogy miről
beszél.
Jézus ezért így folytatta: „Bizony, bizony, mondom nektek: Én vagyok az
ajtó a juhok számára. <span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)">Akik </span>előttem<span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)"> jöttek, azok tolvajok és rablók. Nem
is hallgattak rájuk</span> a juhok. Én vagyok az ajtó: aki rajtam keresztül
megy be, az üdvözül, ki- és bejár, s legelőre talál. <span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)">A tolvaj csak azért
jön, hogy lopjon, öljön és pusztítson.</span> Én azért jöttem, hogy életük
legyen, és bőségben legyen.”<br>

"Whoever enters through me will be saved." </b></span>Well, does this mean that
only explicit Christians will be saved? Does it mean that unless you are
baptized, you don’t receive the Holy Spirit?<br></font></span><font size="2"><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-weight:400;line-height:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;font-family:georgia,"times new roman";font-style:normal"><span style="background-color:rgb(234,209,220)"><b>There
are two extremes<span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"> </span></b></span><span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b>to be avoided</b></span> here.<span style="background-color:rgb(234,209,220)"><b> On the one hand, the exclusivist
claim that only</b></span> <span style="background-color:rgb(246,178,107)"><b><span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)">baptized Catholics<span style="background-color:rgb(249,203,156)"> </span></span><span style="background-color:rgb(249,203,156)">can be saved.</span></b><span style="background-color:rgb(249,203,156)"> </span></span><span style="background-color:rgb(249,203,156)"><b>Tha</b></span>t<span style="background-color:rgb(234,209,220)"><b> is not<span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"> </span></b></span><span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b>the

second view doesn’t give </b></span><span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b>nearly enough weight to the uniqueness of
Christianity.</b></span> <span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b>With Jesus Christ, something altogether new has entered
the world, something that is deeply pleasing to God and therefore of
salvific significance to<span style="background-color:rgb(217,234,211)"> us.</span></b></span><br></span><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-weight:400;line-height:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;font-family:georgia,"times new roman";font-style:normal"><span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b>This
is the power and message of the cross, that dynamic into which we the
baptized have been drawn. Redemptive suffering is what Jesus did on <span style="background-color:rgb(234,209,220)">the
cross: </span></b></span>putting up with <span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b><span style="background-color:rgb(234,209,220)">suffering </span>for doing what is right. </b><b>This is
pleasing in
God’s eyes, precisely because it is redemptive for <span style="background-color:rgb(217,234,211)">the world</span>, precisely
