<i>Jézus Kafarnaumban <u>az Oltáriszentség szerzéséről beszél. </u></i><br>
A csodálatos kenyérszaporítás utáni napon a Genezáreti-tó túlsó partján
maradt népnek eszébe jutott, hogy csak egy bárka volt ott. Tudták, hogy
Jézus nem szállt a bárkába tanítványaival; tanítványai ugyanis egyedül
hajóztak el.<br>
Közben Tibériásból több bárka jött a hely közelébe, ahol az Úrtól megáldott kenyeret ették.<br>
Amikor tehát a nép nem találta Jézust, sem a tanítványait, bárkába
szálltak, és elmentek Kafarnaumba, hogy megkeressék Jézust. Amikor a tó
túlsó partján megtalálták,<span style="color:rgb(7,55,99)"> megkérdezték </span>tőle: <span style="color:rgb(7,55,99)">„Mester, mikor jöttél
ide?”</span><br>
„Bizony, bizony, mondom nektek – felelte Jézus –, nem<span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)"> azért</span> kerestetek,
<span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">mert <span style="color:rgb(255,0,0)">csodajeleket </span>láttatok</span>, <u>hanem mert ettetek a kenyérből és
jóllaktatok</u>. Ne <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">olyan eledelért fáradozzatok, amely megromlik,</span> hanem
<u>olyanért, amely megmarad az örök életre</u>. Ezt az Emberfia adja nektek, –
őt ugyanis az Atya igazolta.”<br>
Erre <span style="color:rgb(7,55,99)">megkérdezték</span> tőle: „<span style="color:rgb(7,55,99)">Mit tegyünk, hogy Istennek tetsző dolgot cselekedjünk?”</span><br>
„<u>Istennek az tetszik – válaszolta Jézus –, ha hisztek abban, akit küldött</u>.”<br>
Ezek az evangélium igéi.

today’s Gospel, <span style="background-color:rgb(208,224,227)"><b>the crowd that experienced the miracle of the loaves
pursues Jesus to see more wonders.</b><b> They finally track him down in the
synagogue in the lakeside town of Capharnaum. <br></b></span></span><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-weight:400;line-height:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;font-family:georgia,"times new roman";font-style:normal"><span style="background-color:rgb(208,224,227)"><b>When
they ask Jesus how he had got there ahead of them, the Lord chides
them: “Amen, amen, I say to you, you are looking for me not because you
saw signs but because you ate the loaves and were filled. Do not work
for food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life.”</b></span><br></span><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-weight:400;line-height:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;font-family:georgia,"times new roman";font-style:normal"><span style="background-color:rgb(217,234,211)"><b>Ordinary
bread satisfies only physical longing</b><b>, and it does so in a transient
way:<span style="background-color:rgb(217,234,211)"> </span></b><b>one eats and one must eat soon again<span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)">.</span></b></span><span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b> But the heavenly bread, Jesus
implies, satisfies the deepest longing of the heart, and does so by
adapting the one who eats it to eternal life. </b></span>The Church Fathers loved
to ruminate on this theme of divinization through the Eucharist, the
process by which <span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b>the consumption of the bread of life readies<span style="background-color:rgb(217,234,211)"> one </span>for

Kérlek, segíts, hogy minden esetben a lehető legjobban készülhessek föl az éppen előttem álló feladatra!<br>
Add meg, Uram, a kegyelmet, hogy akivel csak találkozom, arra úgy
tudjak odafigyelni, és úgy tudjak neki segíteni, mintha Téged;
hallgatnálak, és Neked segítenék!<br>
Add, hogy mélyen megértsem, nehézség, kudarc, sikertelenség és zsákutca is lehet sorsom része!<br>
Sőt! Ezek szükségesek is ahhoz, hogy fejlődjek és megérjek.
