<i>Mária, Jézus minden szavát megőrizte szívében.</i><br>
Jézus szülei minden évben fölmentek Jeruzsálembe a húsvét ünnepére.
Amikor Jézus tizenkét éves lett, szintén fölmentek, az ünnepi szokás
szerint. Az ünnepnapok elteltével hazafelé indultak. A gyermek Jézus
azonban Jeruzsálemben maradt anélkül, hogy szülei észrevették volna.
Abban a hitben, hogy az úti társaságban van, már egy napig mentek,
amikor keresni kezdték a rokonok és ismerősök között. Mivel nem
találták, visszafordultak Jeruzsálembe, hogy ott keressék.<br>
Három nap múlva találtak rá a templomban, amint a tanítók közt ült,
hallgatta és kérdezgette őket. Akik csak hallgatták, mind csodálkoztak
okosságán és feleletein. Amikor a szülei meglátták őt, nagyon
meglepődtek.<br>
Anyja így szólt hozzá: „Gyermekem, miért tetted ezt velünk? Lásd, atyád és én bánkódva kerestünk téged.”<br>
Ő azt felelte: „Miért kerestetek? <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">Nem tudtátok</span>, hogy nekem Atyám dolgaiban kell lennem?”<br>
Ám ők <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">nem értették</span> mit akar ezzel mondani.<br>
Akkor hazatért velük Názáretbe, és engedelmes volt nekik. Szavait anyja mind megőrizte szívében.<br>

today we celebrate the Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed
Virgin Mary.<span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)">
</span></b><b>In 1854, Pope Pius IX declared the dogma of the Immaculate
Conception—the truth that Mary, through a special grace, was preserved
free from <span style="background-color:rgb(234,209,220)">original sin</span> from the first moment of her conception.</b></span><br><br>Were
this not the case, the angel would not have referred to her <span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b>at the
Annunciation as Kecharitomene (full of grace).</b></span> Why would God do such a
thing? And wouldn’t this imply that Mary does not need to be redeemed?<br><br>The
traditional answer is that <span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b>God wanted to prepare a worthy vessel for
the reception of his Word<span></span>. </b></span>Just as the holy of holies in the temple was
kept pure and inviolate, so <span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b>the definitive Temple, the true Ark of the
Covenant, which is Mary herself</b></span>, <span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b>should all the more be un</b></span><span style="background-color:rgb(234,209,220)"><b>trammeled.</b></span><br><br>Bl.
John Duns Scotus explained that Mary is <span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b>indeed redeemed by the grace of
her Son, but since that grace exists outside of time, it can be applied
in a way that transcends t<span style="background-color:rgb(217,234,211)">he ordinary rhythms of time</span>.</b></span> Therefore, <span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b>Mary,
by a kind of preemptive strike, was
