Abban az időben így szólt Jézus:<br>
„Bizony, bizony, mondom nektek: <span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)">Aki nem</span> a kapun megy be <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">a juhok</span>
aklába, <span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)">hanem máshol</span>, <span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)">az tolvaj és rabló. </span>Aki viszont az ajtón megy be,
az <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">a juhok </span>pásztora. Az őr ajtót nyit <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">neki</span>, a <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">juhok</span> pedig hallgatnak
szavára. Nevükön szólítja <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">juhait</span>, és kivezeti <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">őket</span>. Miután mind
kivezette, előttük halad, és <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">a juhok</span> követik, mert ismerik a hangját.
<span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)">Az idegent</span> nem követik, sőt elfutnak <span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)">tőle, </span>mert <span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)">az idegen hangját</span> nem
ismerik.”<br>
Jézus ezt a hasonlatot mondta nekik, de ők <span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)">nem értették meg</span>, hogy
miről beszél.<br>
Jézus ezért így folytatta: „Bizony, bizony, mondom nektek: Én vagyok
az ajtó <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">a juhok </span>számára. <span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)">Akik előttem jöttek, azok tolvajok és rablók.
<span style="color:rgb(255,0,0)">Nem is hallgattak</span> rájuk</span> <span style="color:rgb(39,78,19)">a juhok</span>. Én vagyok az ajtó: aki rajtam
keresztül megy be, az üdvözül, ki- és bejár, s legelőre talál. <span style="color:rgb(102,0,0)">A tolvaj
csak azért jön, hogy lopjon, öljön és pusztítson</span>. Én azért jöttem, hogy
életük legyen, és bőségben legyen.”<br>
Ezek az evangélium igéi.

in today’s Gospel <span style="background-color:rgb(208,224,227)"><b>Jesus identifies himself as the sheepgate and says,
"Whoever enters through me will be saved." </b></span>Well, does this mean that
only explicit Christians will be saved? Does it mean that unless you are
baptized, you don’t receive the Holy Spirit?<br></span><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-weight:400;line-height:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;font-family:georgia,"times new roman";font-style:normal">There
are two extremes to be avoided here. On the one hand, the exclusivist
claim that only baptized Catholics can be saved. That is not the
teaching of the Church. But the other extreme (I think more prevalent
today) is that one’s religion is finally a matter of indifference, as
long as one
finds himself on a spiritual path.<br></span><br><span style="color:rgb(0,0,0);font-weight:400;line-height:inherit;text-decoration:inherit;font-family:georgia,"times new roman";font-style:normal">This
second view doesn’t give nearly enough weight to the uniqueness of
Christianity. <span style="background-color:rgb(255,255,255)"><span style="background-color:rgb(255,242,204)"><b>With Jesus Christ, something altogether new has entered
the world, something that is deeply pleasing to God and therefore of
