Many countries, especially in the South of our continent, are struggling with the deepest frustration of their citizens, while unemployment is rocketing, especially among the young, and social tension is building up. The leaders of the movement Europeans Now have decided that this is the ideal opportunity to repeat Marx's old recipe for the creation of the new
International association of leftist parties, for the lining up of the non-democratic elements and for the final takeover. "We must... begin to act as Europeans. And our first step is to elect our representatives not as French, German or Greek citizens, but as the citizens of Europe." <div>Václav Klaus volt cseh köztársasági elnök úgy látja, hogy az Európai Unió
mai elitje egy nagy állammá kívánja átalakítani az uniót, amely elpusztítaná a
történelmi európai nemzetállamokat és a demokráciát. <br><br>A konzervatív
politikus ezért arra szólítja fel az európai demokratákat, hogy ébredjenek fel,
s akadályozzák meg ezeket a terveket. Az Európai demokraták, ébredjünk fel! című
felhívását Klaus vasárnap a honlapján tette közzé.<br><br>Klaus szerint az EU
mai vezetése, de elsősorban a "radikális zöldek" az egykori Szovjetunió
mintájára igyekeznek átalakítani a szervezetet.<br><br></div>A cseh exelnököt
különösen a Daniel Cohn-Bendit és Felix Marquardt zöldpárti politikusok, az
Europeans Now mozgalom társalapítói által kiadott "Fiatal európaiak...
Egyesüljünk!" című felhívás háborította fel. Klaus azt állítja, hogy ez a
felhívás tudatosan utal Marx Károly Kommunista kiáltványának híres mondatára:
"Világ proletárjai, egyesüljetek!"<br><br>"Azokat a szörnyűségeket, amelyek
részben ennek a felhívásnak a következtében is a világban megtörténtek, tehát a
több tízmillió áldozatot követelő, negyedszázaddal ezelőtt - sajnos túl későn -
csődbe ment kommunista társadalmi-mérnöki projektet, most a modern baloldali, és
nemcsak a vörös, hanem egyre inkább a zöld radikálisok is megpróbálják
újraéleszteni az Európai Unió talaján" - olvasható a dokumentumban.<br><br>Klaus
úgy látja: az "új vezérek" kendőzetlenül csak azt fogalmazták meg, amit az
Európai Unió vezetése kevésbé radikális kifejezésekkel, hogy ne ijessze meg a
polgárokat, már régen hangoztat.<br><br>"Cselekedeteikkel azonban nem kevésbé
radikálisan ugyanazt a célt követik. Az olyan forradalmárok, mint Cohn-Bendit és
társai csak az a hibát követik el, hogy ezt a politikai ambícióik érdekében
modernre festett totalitárius ideológiát az európai választáson leplezetlenül
nyilvánosságra hozzák" - vélekedik a volt cseh államfő.<br><br>Klaus úgy látja,
hogy "az európai demokraták alszanak", ezért tettekre kell őket buzdítani. Az
exelnök ezért felszólítja az európai demokratákat, hogy csatlakozzanak a
