Dear L.szl. Attila,
 Last week, I reached out to Bishop Schneider to see if he was OK despite the violence going on in Kazakhstan.

This is his note to me:

Dear Mr. Wendt,

Thank you for the greeting and prayer. The Catholics in Kazakhstan are thanks be to God safe. In our churches we continue to celebrate the Holy Mass, doing Eucharistic Adoration and praying particularly for peace in our country and for harmony in the social life, which the Kazakh people desire.

He put out a similar note on Twitter and Facebook.

The big takeaway is that we should continue to pray for His Excellency and the land and people that he shepherds in Kazakhstan so that peace can be restored.

I personally will pledge a Rosary for this intention, and we look forward to seeing him on Jan 13th for the QA Broadcast.
