*Urunk Jézus Krisztus Atyja világosítsa meg lelki szemünket, * hogy
megértsük, mily reménységre hívott minket*. Vö. Ef 1,17-18 – 7 b. tónus.






*† EVANGÉLIUM Szent Márk könyvéből Jézus meggyógyítja a betszaidai vakot.
Jézus és tanítványai egy alkalommal Betszaidába érkeztek. Ott egy vakot
vezettek hozzá, és kérték, hogy érintse meg. Ő kézen fogva kivezette a
vakot a faluból. Aztán nyállal megnedvesítette szemét, rátette kezét, és
megkérdezte: „Látsz-e valamit?” Az fölnézett, és így szólt: „Látom az
embereket. Olyanok, mintha a fák járkálnának.” Erre ismét rátette kezét a
vak szemére. Most már tisztán kezdett látni, és úgy meggyógyult, hogy
élesen látott mindent. Ezután hazaküldte, és meghagyta neki: „Erről
senkinek se beszélj a faluban!” Ezek az evangélium igéi. *

*Friends, today’s Gospel records Jesus healing a blind man at Bethsaida.
That Jesus was a wonderworker is taken for granted in the Gospels. Along
with his preaching and his death on the cross, his working of miracles is
one of the surest and most basic things we know about him. He preached in
order to share the truth of God’s kingdom; he went to the cross in order to
demonstrate the range of the divine love; he worked miracles because he was
the embodiment of Yahweh’s desire to save his people. Listen to the words
of the prophet Isaiah: "Here is your God, he comes with vindication; with
divine recompense he comes to save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall
see, and the ears of the deaf be opened; then the lame shall leap like a
stag, and the mute tongue sing for joy."These are tremendous words,
expressive of Israel’s hope in the saving God. God intends life and
abundant life for his people, and he is impatient with a world gone wrong.
He longs to set it right, to recreate what sin and fear and death have
uncreated.*







* Segíts, hogy helyesen tudjam beosztani az időmet! Add, hogy biztosan
érezzem, mely ügyem nem tűr halasztást! Segíts, hogy mindig időt találjak a
szellemi, lelki feltöltődésre is! Kérlek, segíts, hogy minden esetben a
lehető legjobban készülhessek föl az éppen előttem álló feladatra! Add meg,
Uram, a kegyelmet, hogy akivel csak találkozom, arra úgy tudjak
odafigyelni, és úgy tudjak neki segíteni, mintha Téged; hallgatnálak, és
Neked segítenék! Add, hogy mélyen megértsem, nehézség, kudarc,
sikertelenség és zsákutca is lehet sorsom része! Sőt! Ezek szükségesek is
